RESPONSIBILITY OF OUTGOING DIRECTOR
As
per Clause 168, A director may resign from his office by giving notice
in writing. The Board shall, on receipt of such notice, intimate the
Registrar and also place such resignation in the subsequent general
meeting of the company. The director shall also forward a copy of
resignation along with detailed reasons for the resignation to the
Registrar.
The notice shall become effective from the date on which
the notice is received by the company or the date, if any, specified by
the director in the notice, whichever is later.
